As a thinking person, you realize that you have responsibility for your choices and actions, which you should make on the basis of input from multiple sources, not only forecasts such as this. The messages here are "generic" in that they are not oriented to people born under a certain sign. They reflect the ever-changing interconnections of the planets in their orbits around the sun. The way they connect to your personal chart could have far different implications. A generically difficult day might emphasize a favorable part of your chart and work well for you. A generically positive day might touch off a challenging part of your chart and present trouble. You should not go just by this calendar alone - it's much better to get an individual reading or forecast. But this information should be useful in helping you try to capitalize on the strengths of certain moments and avoid the pitfalls of others.
In my Janet's Plan-Its Calendars I discuss each New and Full Moon in detail. Each New Moon shows the areas of emphasis for the month that follows. The Full Moons indicate the peaks of these cycles. I try to give suggestions as to what types of activities are appropriate with the planetary influences at hand. These forecasts are for everyone, regardless of sign. They discuss the astrological "atmosphere" that we all share.
My Janet's Plan-Its forecasts also go into details explaining the meaning of planets as they change direction, enter a new sign, or make an important connection with another planet. You'll find discussion of these in the Highlights and Comments sections that accompany the month pages. Each day there is a message about the nature of that day.
In reading these documents, it will help if you understand a little about the concept of Retrograde Motion.
If you have my calendar, be sure to read the message for your birthday. Also check the comments in the months or weeks prior to your birthday that list your birthday in their range of being “in effect.” The planetary positions in effect at your birthday apply until your next birthday. The influences present at the New Moon before your birthday are also likely to carry on for you throughout your year, so read that section carefully.
